When is comes to fruit juice, Vivo has the best to offer to their customer with wide variety of juices. This is good for those who are on diet or would like something refreshing for a hot day. Juicy Fresh (RM 7.80) is freshly squeezed watermelon, carrot and orange that served as antioxidant properties.

Classic Ceaser Salad RM 8.80

The appetizer that has been served to us is the best selling Classic Ceaser Salad (RM 8.80) that has fresh imported Romaine lettuce tossed with home made Ceaser dressing and garnished with crispy chicken strips and croutons. Its a well tossed of mixture of the tasty chicken strips that brings out the flavour of this salad together with sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

All the pizza dough is handmade and pizza will only be baked upon order and usually will take around 15 minutes to be serve. The outer golden ring of the pizza is made higher to prevent the over flow of mozzarella cheese.

There are a few sizes of pizza at Vivo, you may choose from:
  • 7' thin crust RM 11.90 (extra cheese RM 3.00)
  • 10' thin crust RM 18.90 or thick crust RM 19.90 (extra cheese RM 4.00)

Italian Deluxe Pizza

One of the MUST TRY pizza at Vivo will be the Italian Deluxe. It consist of fresh shitake mushrooms, chicken strips, beef pepperoni, onion, capsicum, black olive and Vivo special sauce. The chicken strips and the beef pepperoni do bring out aroma of the pizza with a taste of crunchy outside and chewy inside. You may request for cheese powder to be add on to your pizza.

Besides pizza, Vivo also do serve other main dishes. If we would like to add on rice or mashed potato, additional RM 2.00 will be charge.

Tropical BBQ Chicken Chop RM 14.90

Tropical BBQ Chicken Chop (RM 14.90) is specially marinated with sweet BBQ sauce. It is present together with 2 slices of pineapple, fries and coleslaw. The chicken meat taste juicy and nice to be consume when it is served hot.

Chicken Fillet Panini RM 9.90

A visit to Vivo will not be complete without ordering their signature Panini bread. We choosed the Chicken Fillet (RM 9.90) with Parmeson Oregano Panini bread. The chicken strips is well grilled with tasty BBQ sauce. The bread is slightly toasted so that it will be a bit crunchy for our liking. The home made rustic Italian bread will be loaded with fresh lettuce, slices tomato, cucumber with filling of your choice and tasty sauces. There are 3 choices of Panini bread to choose from, that would be the Pramesan Oregano, Oatmeal and Itallian.

NZ Mussels with Prawns RM17.80

Last but not least we are pampered with the Chef Recommendation dish, NZ Mussels with Prawns (RM17.80). Served with fresh prawns and New Zealand green lipped mussels sauteed with special herbs and garlic in Marinara sauce. In a dish like this, I would say the freshness of the seafood is very important together with the sauce and this dish had scored a high points. Thumbs up!

Volcanic Chocolate with Ice Cream RM 12.90

For a sweet tooth and a chocolate lover, Volcanic Chocolate with ice cream (RM 12.90) will bring a big smile on our face. You will able to see the hot flow of chocolate cream once you slice it. Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top off with a cherry and sprinkle of icing sugar. The combination of the cold ice cream and the hot chocolate cake will cause an awesome explosion in your mouth.

It ended well with huge satisfaction for a quick and friendly service by the VIVO staff.

Since 1979, bringing the best of authentic Taiwanese cuisine to Malaysians inspired Jeanie Lee to set her very own restaurant New Formosa Restaurant.

Jeanie holds a Master Degree in Nutritionist and her dish creation focused on healthy and balance of nutrients. Jeanie Lee is also familiar for some people who had followed her cooking show over the years.

To start with Taiwanese sour plum juice, Superior Dong Ding Oolong half fermented tea and some peanuts will be a perfect aperitif.

The fried intestine is very crispy, not rubbery and with no smell. While the fried unagi is soft and has a sweet butter taste that all of us like.

The second course is the Fried snapper home style cooking with Taiwanese spicy sauce served with deep fried Chinese Silver bread. The fish is soft and juicy with a crispy deep-fried skin. The Taiwanese spicy sauce served different dimension of flavour to the dish.

A loaf of home-made silver bread will be a perfect accompaniment for the fish. The dough is semi-hollow inside where there are strips of bread for the bread to absorb the spicy sauce.

Next is the duo duck which comprises of Yam duck & Longgan PiPa duck. The yam duck is done by stuffing the duck into puree of yam and deep fried. The longgan duck is roasted with special longgan sauce as marinate. The duck is cook well, with crispy skin and meat is tender. The touch of longgan, provide additional natural sweetness to the duck.

The fourth course is the Steam prawns with Chinese herbs in hollowed bamboo. The prawn is juicy and soft while the Chinese herbal soup is just full of flavour and nutrients.

Steam yam rice served in bamboo Taiwanese Hakka style is a must try if you visit New Formosa Restaurant. The rice is flavoured with yam and cook with pumpkin, Taiwanese sausage and fried shallot. The fragrant of Taiwanese sausage and texture from the yam provides a best combination for a rice dish.

Jeanie being a generous restaurateur introduced us to their restaurant specialty, Bonito Ma-La steamboat. The soup in the steamboat is divided into half where one is the chicken stock flavoured with bonito flakes and the other is Ma-La, a Chinese cuisine of superior spicy soup. New Formosa Restaurant has a concept of serving healthy food and thus the Ma-La soup served is not too oily.

The recommended ingredients for the steamboat will be shitake mushroom, prawn, fried bean curd, pork intestine, pork and chicken meat, glass noodles, egg, crabstick, Japanese snail, clam, home-made meat balls, fish maw, cutter fish, tofu, yam, oyster, corn and not forgetting their special Taiwanese yellow noodles.

~Metal Pot Steamboat~

We were also make known to her New Formosan Stone-Fire pot which is made of marble. The pot has the ability to control and absorbs additional saltiness in the soup. It is done by starting with stir frying the garlic, scallion and onion until flavour. Then put in the chicken and pork meat and continue to stir fry. Later on, add in the oyster and Taiwanese sausage sauce. Water is added at the end of the cooking to make sauce for the steamboat. This is a specialty that everyone must try.

She also introduced us to Taiwanese Classic Rice Porridge with Sweet Potato which will always be her favorite choice of breakfast. To go with the porridge, one can order a variety of perfect accompaniments. They are the “Pork intestine with fried shredded salted egg”, “Fried string beans in Sichuan style”, “Fried bitter gout with salted egg”, “Omelet with dried salted raddish”, “Fried anchovies with peanuts”, “Butter fried fish” which is their new dish and “Fried oyster with preserved black beans”.

Ginkgo Pumpkin yam pudding is their chef recommendation. It is basically a puree of pumpkin and yam topped with ginkgo. The texture is not only soft and smooth but also full of flavour!

Another specialty of their restaurant is the Formosa Special Sweet Yam which the sweet yam is coated with a layer of crystal caramelized sugar. You can feel the crunchiness of the caramel and the soft and warm texture of the yam goes down to your throat. A perfect combination!

Dubrovnik Restaurant is named after the most southern city in Croatia. Croatia was once a part of ex-Yugoslavia, gained its independence in 1991 . A land filled with rich cultural heritage due to its history and surrounding countries. Croatian cuisine is also known as the cuisine of regions that has many different influences; from Italy, Turkey, Greece, Hungary, Germany, Austria and France.

Zoran Djumic is the founder and head chef of this restaurant. He was inspired with the dishes that his piece of homeland can offer, thus set up this restaurant last year, April 2008.

Judging from the outlook of the restaurant, one will thought that it must be an expensive place to dine. But you are wrong, it is affordable yet tasty. Click here for the menu.

Ben, the manager of the restaurant is our host for the day. He served us with the restaurant's signature dishes. If you join us during lunch that Saturday afternoon, you will notice that Ben is a very friendly host. He can even baby sit the cutomer's baby while the parents are dining. Where else can we find such good service restaurant? :)

We learn that all the products use in the preparation of food are carefully selected to assure maximum quality for customers. The pasta is home-made, and the pizza and bread are baked in the wood burning oven. Monthly wood consumption for the fire oven is whopping RM500!

The fourth course is the Steam prawns with Chinese herbs in hollowed bamboo. The prawn is juicy and soft while the Chinese herbal soup is just full of flavour and nutrients.

Steam yam rice served in bamboo Taiwanese Hakka style is a must try if you visit New Formosa Restaurant. The rice is flavoured with yam and cook with pumpkin, Taiwanese sausage and fried shallot. The fragrant of Taiwanese sausage and texture from the yam provides a best combination for a rice dish.

Jeanie being a generous restaurateur introduced us to their restaurant specialty, Bonito Ma-La steamboat. The soup in the steamboat is divided into half where one is the chicken stock flavoured with bonito flakes and the other is Ma-La, a Chinese cuisine of superior spicy soup. New Formosa Restaurant has a concept of serving healthy food and thus the Ma-La soup served is not too oily.

The recommended ingredients for the steamboat will be shitake mushroom, prawn, fried bean curd, pork intestine, pork and chicken meat, glass noodles, egg, crabstick, Japanese snail, clam, home-made meat balls, fish maw, cutter fish, tofu, yam, oyster, corn and not forgetting their special Taiwanese yellow noodles.

We were also make known to her New Formosan Stone-Fire pot which is made of marble. The pot has the ability to control and absorbs additional saltiness in the soup. It is done by starting with stir frying the garlic, scallion and onion until flavour. Then put in the chicken and pork meat and continue to stir fry. Later on, add in the oyster and Taiwanese sausage sauce. Water is added at the end of the cooking to make sauce for the steamboat. This is a specialty that everyone must try.

She also introduced us to Taiwanese Classic Rice Porridge with Sweet Potato which will always be her favorite choice of breakfast. To go with the porridge, one can order a variety of perfect accompaniments. They are the “Pork intestine with fried shredded salted egg”, “Fried string beans in Sichuan style”, “Fried bitter gout with salted egg”, “Omelet with dried salted raddish”, “Fried anchovies with peanuts”, “Butter fried fish” which is their new dish and “Fried oyster with preserved black beans”.

Their Five Flavours Pudding is also a must try. It has 5 different variety of flavours which is green tea aloe vera, honey herbal, mango pudding, custard caramel and yam gingko without lard and sugar.

Ginkgo Pumpkin yam pudding is their chef recommendation. It is basically a puree of pumpkin and yam topped with ginkgo. The texture is not only soft and smooth but also full of flavour!

Another specialty of their restaurant is the Formosa Special Sweet Yam which the sweet yam is coated with a layer of crystal caramelized sugar. You can feel the crunchiness of the caramel and the soft and warm texture of the yam goes down to your throat. A perfect combination!

Dubrovnik Restaurant is named after the most southern city in Croatia. Croatia was once a part of ex-Yugoslavia, gained its independence in 1991 . A land filled with rich cultural heritage due to its history and surrounding countries. Croatian cuisine is also known as the cuisine of regions that has many different influences; from Italy, Turkey, Greece, Hungary, Germany, Austria and France.

Zoran Djumic is the founder and head chef of this restaurant. He was inspired with the dishes that his piece of homeland can offer, thus set up this restaurant last year, April 2008.

Judging from the outlook of the restaurant, one will thought that it must be an expensive place to dine. But you are wrong, it is affordable yet tasty. Click here for the menu.

Ben, the manager of the restaurant is our host for the day. He served us with the restaurant's signature dishes. If you join us during lunch that Saturday afternoon, you will notice that Ben is a very friendly host. He can even baby sit the cutomer's baby while the parents are dining. Where else can we find such good service restaurant? :)

We learn that all the products use in the preparation of food are carefully selected to assure maximum quality for customers. The pasta is home-made, and the pizza and bread are baked in the wood burning oven. Monthly wood consumption for the fire oven is whopping RM500!

Ajvar (Croatian Spicy Salsa)
For Malaysian, sambal belachan is our salsa, and for Croatian, Ajvar is their salsa which is served together with bread. A mixture of fresh tomatoes, egg plant, herbs, capsicum, lemon juice, onions, pepper, sugar, all chopped and grilled together with oil.
